Lintstock will not collect any data relating to criminal offences or convictions.

How We Use Your Information

If you are a Lintstock client, we will use the contact information you provide to process your order, manage your account, and to provide access to support.

Personal data stored by our clients using services on Lintstock’s website may be used to ensure compliance with financial regulations. Our clients may under certain circumstances be legally required to provide your personal information to a regulatory body (The Financial Conduct Authority).

Personal data (name and email address) provided to Lintstock by our clients may be used to invite you to respond to surveys on their behalf. Responses that you choose to submit using our website will be stored and used for statistical and reporting purposes. Reports which include your responses may be communicated to the organisation which created or commissioned the surveys. Your responses may or may not be attributable to you, depending on the nature of the surveys.

Sharing Your Information

In cases where Lintstock stores or processes your personal data on behalf of one of our clients, we will not share your information with any party other than the client, under the terms of the agreement we have with that client, except if required to do so by law.

In cases where Lintstock stores or processes your personal data for its own use, Lintstock will not share your information with any party outside Lintstock unless we have your consent, except if required to do so by law.

How We Store Your Information

Personal Data is stored at ISO 27001 accredited data centres in the UK, with appropriate physical and electronic security, including multiple levels of data encryption. Your data will be retained only for as long as we have a legitimate use for it, or as long as is required by law.

Exercising Your Rights

You have the right to know what information we hold about you, to correct this information, and to have it removed (if it is legal to do so). We also process personal data on behalf of our clients, as described above. Should we hold your personal information for this reason, we can refer you to a contact within your organisation; they will be able to advise you about the information they hold about you, and your rights with respect to that information. In all cases, please contact our Data Protection Officer (contact details are provided on this page).
